Take the legendary British Pullman, A Belmond Train for a day trip from London to Bath’s Holburne Museum, accompanied by Andrew Graham-Dixon

Step aboard the luxury British Pullman, A Belmond Train for a return day trip from London to Bath to visit the city's fascinating Holburne Museum with art critic Andrew Graham-Dixon.

You'll be welcomed on board this beautifully restored 1920s train with a chilled Bellini cocktail, then sit back in a decadent art deco carriage at a table set with crisp white linens. A delicious three-course brunch is served as you depart London and head into the English countryside. While the views outside the windows are captivating, the train's stylish decor is equally enchanting. Each carriage is individual with its own name, style, and fascinating history - Audrey and Vera survived bomb damage in WWII.

Onboard, you'll meet Andrew Graham-Dixon, a leading art critic, writer, and broadcaster. Andrew will be available in the carriage to ask questions ahead of your tour of the incredible Holburne Museum with him.

On arrival in Bath, you'll stretch your legs on a walk to the museum, where Andrew will deliver an insightful talk about some of its key pieces of fine and decorative art. Afterwards, there's time to explore the museum's Rodin and Degas Impressionist exhibition or you might choose to spend a bit of time at the Bath Christmas Market instead. You'll be welcomed back on board with a Champagne reception before enjoying a four-course table d'hôte menu, complete with the sommelier's wine selection on a memorable return to London.

British Pullman, A Belmond Train

London Victoria Station, United Kingdom

There is no finer way to travel than on the luxurious Belmond train.

Honouring George Mortimer Pullman, the father of luxury trains, the splendidly refurbished British Pullman epitomises a glamorous era of travel. Each carriage is individually named and has a fascinating story. Some were favoured by the British Royal Family, and two were part of Winston Churchill's funeral train. Others, like Audrey and Vera, survived bomb damage during air raids over London's Victoria Station in 1940. Today, the opulent carriages are set out in tables, ready to welcome guests as they dine on their journeys through the British countryside.
