Delve into the events of the Gallipoli Campaign, visiting battlefields and memorials in the company of expert historians, Clive Harris and Adem Bicer.

Spanning Europe and Asia, the strategic waters of the Dardanelles Straights have born witness to conflict for thousands of years. Combining the classical world with more recent conflict during the Great War, this five-night tour will focus on the ancient city of Troy alongside the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915.

While the itinerary highlights the battlefields in Troy, Helles, Anzac and Suvla, you'll also visit a local winery for a tasting and enjoy a scenic boat trip from Gaba Tepe to the peaceful Anzac Cove, where you'll visit the Anzac Commemorative site and take in other poignant memorials.

The tour will be led by historians Clive Harris and Aden Bicer - both have written, lectured, studied and led groups to the area for over 20 years and will offer their insights and expertise throughout the trip.

You'll be based at the four-star Hotel Truva, which directly overlooks the Dardanelles straits, in the heart of the beautiful city of Çanakkale. There will be time in the evenings and on your final day to explore your surroundings.

Please note: personal requests connected to the Gallipoli campaign are positively encouraged and will be thoroughly researched to ensure this is the trip of a lifetime.
