Escorted Tour
Tour the charming Isles of Scilly with author Michael Morpurgo

On this six-day trip you will discover what many people consider the UK's most charming archipelago - the Isles of Scilly, off the south-western tip of Cornwall. Included are excursions, dinner and a presentation talk from Michael Morpurgo, the author most famous for his 1982 novel War Horse.
This island discovery includes boat trips to and from the mainland, as well as throughout the archipelago. This is the warmest region of the British Isles. Over six days you'll explore the rugged coastlines, the semi-tropical gardens and the historic sites of St Mary's, St Martin's, Tresco, St Agnes and Bryher, with its rugged west coast and pretty sand beaches.
Accommodation is at the four-star Star Castle Hotel on St Mary's, a converted 16th-century fortress in the shape of an eight-pointed star. Michael Morpurgo has been visiting his beloved Isles of Scilly for four decades. They have provided the inspiration for many of his novels including Why the Whales Came, Listen to the Moon and Arthur, High King of Britain.
