Join the legendary ballerina, Darcey Bussell, on a five-star cruise along one of Europe’s great rivers, visiting the classic cities of Budapest and Vienna

The Government has given the go ahead for all river cruises and we are delighted to offer a new 2021 date on this sell-out cruise. For up-to-date advice on travel and COVID-19, see our homepage.

The mighty Danube flows through the heart of Europe and some of the world's most elegant and fascinating cities. From Salzburg, the backdrop to The Sound Of Music, to Vienna, home of the waltz, this exclusive eight-day Scenic voyage will be brimming with music, culture and dance. So who better to join you than retired ballerina and former Strictly judge Darcey Bussell?

Darcey will host three special events exclusively for readers, including a private talk and Q&A with the Telegraph's dance critic, Mark Monahan, a drinks party onboard the five-star Scenic Space-Ship and a magical evening of music and dance at Vienna's historic Palais Liechtenstein. Your voyage will begin in Nuremberg and includes stops at Regensburg, Passau and Linz. You can also visit Melk's magnificent Benedictine abbey or take a gourmet tour of the UNESCO-listed Wachau valley. In addition, you'll go on a guided tour of Budapest's highlights.

This is a unique opportunity to enjoy a luxurious river cruise in the company of one of our greatest ever dancers.

"Vienna is one of the great European cities of music and culture, and I am very much looking forward to joining you there - both to introduce an exclusive dance performance at the Palais Liechtenstein and then to share stories and experiences from my own career." Darcey Bussell
