You will do so in the company of BBC wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, who has lived in South Africa since the mid-2000s. One of the hosts of the much-loved Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch series, Michaela will join you for some incredible experiences.
Having made a series to raise money for the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds, Michaela is devoted to protecting local birdlife. She will lead you on a trip to the foundation's penguin hospital, where you'll enjoy an interactive tour of the facility and meet some of the recovering penguins.
Michaela will also be with you for a cablecar trip to the top of Cape Town's best known feature, the stunning Table Mountain. There you'll enjoy commanding 360-degree views of the city below. Later that day, your group will cruise out to see the Duiker Island Cape fur seal colony and multitude of sea birds.
You will have plenty of leisure time to explore everything Cape Town has to offer, including the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Robben Island and the bars and shops of Kloof Street and Bree Street. What is more a wonderful helicopter tour is also included.

This morning you will explore South Africa's oldest university town, including its Dutch Reformed Church, town hall and the famous Oom Samie se Winkel general trading store.
Then it's back to the Spier Wine Estate for a wine tasting in the tasting room, home to a Heath Nash chandelier made from over 300 recycled wine bottles.
Lunch today is a delicious picnic.
