Discover the spectacular gardens and wildlife of the Isles of Scilly and meet Helen Yemm

Life moves at a more leisurely pace on the peaceful Isles of Scilly, famous for their striking scenery, sub-tropical gardens and vast, sandy beaches. On this six-day trip you'll discover why so many people consider the Isles of Scilly to be the UK's most idyllic archipelago.
On this island discovery tour you'll enjoy excursions to many of the islands' most beautiful locations. You'll see the fascinating Tresco Abbey Garden, described as "Kew without the glass", the rugged coastlines of Bryher and the quaint harbours of St Martin's.
You'll be joined on your trip by Helen Yemm, former Thorny Problems columnist for The Telegraph, who will accompany you to Tresco Abbey Garden and afterwards host a dinner and Q&A where you can ask her your horticultural questions.
Two expert speakers will join you for dinner talks to give you an insight into the gardens and the Isles of Scilly's amazing native wildlife. The Curator of Tresco Abbey Gardens, Mike Nelhams, will prepare you for your visit with a talk on its array of colourful plants, and Julian Branscombe will explain the work of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust, which he heads.
You'll be based at the stylish and luxurious Karma Hotel on the isle of St Martin's, which will serve as your base for the trip. Here you will enjoy delicious cuisine made with local, seasonal ingredients, as well as truly stunning views across the bay.
